Twice a year, OML offers multi-day gatherings in Portland, OR for 25 filmmakers to share works-in-progress, discuss case studies and build community.

OML serves as the Pacific NW Regional Representatives for the Documentary Producers Alliance, hosting regular calls with documentary producers throughout the region.
We connect regularly with media organizations from the greater Portland area.
Our goal is to help improve communication and to generate collaborative ideas that support both media organizations and individuals.

We partner with NW DOCUMENTARY (in-person & online) to produce Doc Camp for documentary filmmakers around the world. This event offers the often solitary documentarian a chance to engage in dynamic conversations, find paths to artistic inspiration & personal reflection, and build community, along side award winning speakers and industry professionals.

PAST EVENTS
In 2020 we partnered with The Hollywood Theater to highlight the amazing work of Oregon filmmakers through our Oregon Filmmaker Series.
Selected submissions resided on an online portal on The Hollywood Theater website for at least 6 months, with a percentage of ticket sales provided directly to participating filmmakers.
Throughout the first few years of the pandemic, we host monthly Zoom calls to gather Portland media makers online for a chance to connect, share resources and support each other.
